Our Mission

The Uganda AIDS Orphan Children Foundation, Inc. (UAOCF) is a non-profit charitable organization that aims to provide care to the growing number of vulnerable Ugandan children whose parents have died from Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS).

Our objective is to reach out to these orphaned and vulnerable children by providing assistance with their daily needs, health care and education. We specifically target the underserved rural population in the four Ugandan districts of Kabale, Rukungiri, Kisoro and Kanungu. Our support focuses most heavily on education, and includes a program that supports children in foster homes.

The UAOCF involves the community in both Uganda and the United States in its work. To fulfill our mission, every effort is made to provide compassionate, quality service to these Ugandan children, with a high standard of care and respect for their individual dignity and well-being. Although the UAOCF collaborates with a faith-based organization in Uganda, we care for children in our target area regardless of their faith or personal background.
