Gilbert is one of the children we help care for.

Wouldn't you like to put a smile on the face of a little boy like Gilbert?

There are 30,000 orphaned and vulnerable children in our target area of Kabale in southwestern Uganda. These children have next to nothing no support structure, no loving home, no guidance for developing the skills of a productive livelihood. Our aim is to provide as many of these children as possible with their daily needs, health care, and education by supporting them in foster homes. In 2004, our foundation’s first year, we supported 50 orphans in foster care homes. By June 2006, that number had grown to 175 children. Our goal for 2006 was achieved by adding 25 more children, for a total of 200. At the end of 2009, we were supporting 315 orphans in our Foster Care Program. The cost of supporting one orphan in a foster home (including their education) for one year is $350. Our goal is to increase the number of children by at least 25 each year, as funds become available.

You can help by supporting just one orphan! You may make annual, semiannual or quarterly donations to:

Uganda AIDS Orphan Children Foundation, Inc.
P.O. Box 64485

Or you may make your donation from our Giving page.

If you wish, we will send you your child's name and profile, so that you can correspond with him or her. You have the option of sharing your name with the child or keeping your name and address confidential.
